The powerful picture of Cosby’s alleged rape accusers and the empty chair speak a thousand words and finally people are listening and hopefully learning. In the wake of this firestorm its easy to dismiss Cosby’s actions as coming from a man of fame and fortune but it speaks to the realities and pervasiveness of our rape culture, one which has long sanctioned and even encouraged this behavior for the ordinary man.
