Mitch McConnell has a lot of money tied up with Trump…both investments as well as his wife Elaine Chao working for Trump. McConnell should recuse himself from all matters involving Trump investigations - he is corrupted.
Nice to know that we have a hundred Senators and 435 Congressmen to run the government.
Considering that no protection bill would pass the current house, blocking a bunch of lame duck judges may be all for the best.

I’ve also seen reports on the interwebs saying that McConnell accepted $3.5 million from a Russian oligarch (I haven’t seen confirmation) - so protecting Mueller could be the last thing McConnell would want to do.

Better stick an extension of the statute of limitations on presidential crimes in that bill. Might as well ask for what’s needed even if it’s not gonna get a vote, at the least it could help raise public awareness of the pitfalls that come with potential re-election.
These judges will instantly be confirmed next year after Flake is gone.
