Democrats one-termed the earlier and less-terrible Bush by legislating. The laws he signed were policy victories that the GOP hated. The laws he vetoed became the reasons we couldnât have nice things.
So when the Senate makes another run at Obamacare repeal, I want to see Medicare for all going to conference. When the Senate wants to defund Planned Parenthood, I want to see Medicaid expansion to cover every pregnant woman and CHIP expansion to every child who is adopted.
