Because there are so many massacres in this country, so many mass shootings, that it probably never occurred to Matthews that this wasn’t one of them. He probably assumed he missed that one (how can anyone remember them all?) and just kept going.

I was very glad to see on CBS This Morning that Alex Wagner (subbing for one of the regular anchors) made a point of calling out Conway’s fantasy as being “incorrect.”

It occurs to me that if pissed off constituents can overwhelm the phone lines and the schedules of elected officials, they can do it for CNN too. Not asking for a certain political bent, but for informing, accurate coverage, especially with a well-known prevaricator running her mouth.

Sigh. I know. Why, just yesterday, I was down at the Memorial for Charlottesville’s Fallen. All three hundred, twenty-seven were murdered exactly five years ago–on Obama’s watch, mind you–in an attack on peaceful mall-shoppers by the Federation Under Christian Klan Universe army. Terrible. Sad. And what’s worse? – The media were so wrapped up in the black man in the White House that they colluded with the feds to keep it hush-hush. Only some of us white people here in the Shenandoah Valley know about it. Sad. I hope KAC can spread the word.
