Certainly she’s more high-profile than Wallace had to be in '08, at least as I remember it. But she’s actually pretty good at her job, considering that shitshow quality. The challenge in defending Trump is to be able to offer anything at all, considering what a POS he is in every way. She manages to go out and make mouth noises and hold her own. She doesn’t run off the set in tears. When this is all over and potential clients and employers are looking at her, they may not much care how sincere she was. They’ll ask if she can put together a helpful poll or a marketing campaign that makes sense. I’m very vaguely in the same business, and I have some respect for those skills. Look past the absurdity to that, and you can imagine she’ll crawl out of the wreckage, dust herself off, and carry on and do pretty well.
