The RATS on the Supreme Court view money as free speech. With that legal argument, bribery, insider trading, price fixing and money laundering would be exercise of free speech and no longer crimes. The RATS might view these activities as win-win and as exchange of favors among consenting adults.

He was Jonnieās bitch.
I am. . . . .
LOL. What a sad story this is all the way around. Jonnie didnāt even get anything to speak of for all that money he gave them and bling he bought the Mrs. Nobody won ⦠except for those of us who like a little justice with our cereal in the morning.
Itās not the jail door he needs to worry aboutā¦
Although, as with so many vocally anti-gay, he may be looking forward to his time hitting rock, ahem⦠Bottomā¦
The really really pathetic part of all this is how low rent (cheaply) the price of their corruption is. Itās pretty well documented that several governors who preceeded the McDonnells took more than he did (including Democrats). Of course, they openly declared it and made no effort to hide it, something the McDonnells went to great lengths to do.
Are you sure of this? I mean, I think Scalia & Roberts have publicly advanced a theory of corruption that says only explicit quid-pro-quo qualifies as corruption and that the statute would therefore be invalid. Jonnie Williams didnāt get very much for all that $$$ and that does kind of go to the quid-pro-quo test.
I think he also said something after his wife was sentenced that heās putting all his faith in the Lord. So, between looking wise and senatorial with the grey hair, weary look and his new found Christian faith, perhaps he may skate. NOT!
Forgot all about him and the Mrs. and am still dumbfounded as to how stupid people can be.
I donāt mind a parasite. I object to a cut-rate one.
