Discussion: Convicted Croat War Criminal Dies After Ingesting Poison At UN Court

How in the hell did he get access to the poison?

All I know here is that there’s way more to the story. He got the poison because somebody wanted him silenced.

Or he was just a stark raving lunatic.

Per rockgolf: “How in the hell did he get access to the poison?”

Maybe this is what Flynn will do

I hope not. At least, not until Donnie is behind bars.

Nah, too cowardly, arrogant and self-righteous. He’ll just rat out anyone in his orbit, and spend the rest of his days writing books about his innocence.

dr coyote, your logic doesn’t make any sense to me. Are you saying this guy drank it not knowing what it was? Or he was forced to drink it against his will? “Silencing him” means that the dead guy was going to talk and someone poisoned him to stop it.

A far more likely scenario is that someone sympathetic to him snuck it to him at his own request.

regarding Trumpgate -
Whether it is Flynn &/or others - and whether it is self inflicted or the result of being targeted, it seems like this giant mess will ultimately be, not just be ‘follow the money’ but also, ‘follow the bodies’

Trying to recall - wasn’t this " swallow poison in the courtroom" dramatic action already done before in the not too recent past?

Does an episode of Diagnosis: Murder count as recent?

Hardly. I don’t think there are any suprises left regarding the larger Yugoslav war of disintegration. Croatia was, is a fairly racist nation who willing sided with the Nazis during WWII. It has, however, done the best job of rehabilitating it self as a quaint, less expensive Mediterranean tourist destination.

maybe - but I think this was what I was recalling -

The “Oliver North Defense.”

No. I’m saying “how did he get it?”

“Silencing him” means that the dead guy was going to talk and someone poisoned him to stop it.

Quo bono?

That was suggested back in March.

Clint Watts, a former FBI agent now with the Foreign Policy Research Institute Program on National Security, said the Senate intelligence committee should “follow the dead bodies.”
