Correct, if anything they would tell him that they were working with the Russians on a fake news campaign, etc. But in no way was this dopeys’ idea, he’s too stupid to come up with any kind of plan. Bannon is a depraved POS, but he’s smart. But it’s possible some of his underlings (Flynn as an example) did some real stupid shit in writing or on tape, and that could get very interesting. We already know that Kelly Ann is clueless on whats is legal by her hyping Ivank’s merch. If she was privy to this, there very likely could be a documented trail of some kind. Roger Stone has also proven to be a blabbermouth.

Well, I guess it’s up to Trump to now come up with the evidence he said he had two weeks ago. The clock is ticking, Donald. The FBI doesn’t have any and neither does anyone else in the House. The Senate cleared Obama last week. The ball is in your Russian court now.
Correct me if I am wrong – I assume Comey is under obligation to inform the ranking members of the committee that Trump is under investigation, but its classified information which he cannot answer in a public forum. Schiff is asking questions he already knows the answers to – and both he and Comey understand he must respond with a no comment. This is Schiff’s way of signaling to the public what is going on.
“We have briefed them in great detail on the subjects of the investigation and what we’re doing but I’m not going to answer about anybody in this forum,” Comey said of committee Chair Devin Nunes (R-CA) and ranking member Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA).

The only thing that matters is that Trump thinks he’s under investigation and it’s driving him battier than he already is. If Trump is guilty, he needs to go. If he’s merely paranoid and nuts, should he get to stay?
Comey may be the only way out of this massive screwup but I’m still angry that he gave the election to Trump. And the president’s approval ratings stand at only 37%. This is a fiasco of historical proportion. Republicans need to come to grips with this.

As I pointed out earlier in the day…the more tight lipped Comey is, the worse it is for Trump. We can base that upon our experience of Comey when an investigation/issue is over…the Ashcroft hospital incident and his rantings about Hillary when announcing the investigation was closed and there were no charges to press stand out as two pretty clear examples.
When something is still being investigated…“No comment” is his answer. And “No comment” was pretty much his default setting today.
So yeah…the more Comey protests not to read into his non comments, the more its a great big flashing red neon sign saying “Yes, read into his non comments”. If there was no investigation into Trump or others in his orbit, Comey would have been a great deal more forthcoming.
After all, Mr CYA would have definitely wanted to cover his ass with republicans…in the majority…in Congress. He didn’t, so its probably a safe bet that yes, there are some serious investigations on going.

Actually next in line is Ryan. I’d take Pence over Ryan. There are 15 people on the list, Pelosi is definitely not one of them. In fact the only one on the list worth a damn is Mattis. Not coincidentally he is also the one who disagrees with Trump on most issues.
He really does remind me of my 88 year old mother who is fairly functional, but (newly) suffering from short term memory loss. She has no idea that she has said or done something that happened just the day before. A neurologist has ordered a CT scan of her brain. I imagine a good doctor would recommend the same for Trump.
That’s why I said depending on how long it takes. If they drag their feet until after the '18 election, it could turn in to President Pelosi.
