Does anyone think sheāll actually vote against it? And Ryan know these are probably just words.
sorry but maybe she could explain exactly what the āmarkā isā¦ all sheās done is run her mouth for publicity and Iāve still no idea what she supportsā¦
I think we need a list of all the excuses of why House Republicans and Senate Republicans hate this bill. Then we need a list of what we want and hand it to them, and then let the games begin.
She may actually mean it this time. Maine has a higher percentage of over-65ās than AZ or FL.
It misses the markā¦ but what do you propose to help the elderly and low income folks obtain health care? What about the working class that will have āaccessā, yet wonāt be able to afford insurance? I appreciate Sen Collins objecting, but what will she fight for, and will she ( once again) compromise to the detriment of the country and my state?
No, Ms. Collins. The bill is an abomination. You consistently miss the mark every time you open your mouth because, among other reasons, you almost never actually follow through your words with action. āSay no vote yesā should be your motto.
We should give everyone real choice. Allow them to choose to have Obamacare or TRumpcare, and then allow them to change their minds every 2 years coinciding with the elections and on the ballot.
he comes the fake moderate with weasel words.
Hedgey McWaffle is trying to become queen of the noncommittal statement.
But but butā¦How can she know until she sees some poll results?
Many repugs say similar things about various bills right up to the moment they slip into their jackboots and goose-step into the chamber to vote in favor.
Snowe is just a kinder and gentler Trump, waiting to see which way the wind blows before staking her position to be a winner.
Trump wants to mow down older Americans, Snowe waits for the right time to stab them in the back. Thatās what she means by āMissing the markā
To Republicans, anyone who doesnāt at least fly first class, is a āmarkā
Trust me, Collins will vote for the bill if Mitch tells her to. Sheās all talk.
Does Maine also have a higher percentage of the 50-65s who might actually be affected immediately by this bill. Iām not denying that Ryanās and Priceās plans to gut Medicare next will affect lots of peopleā¦ but staying precise on who loses from Trumpcare ā namely, rural older low- to moderate-income Americans ā is important, too.
Iām from Maine, and Iāve always thought she would vote against it. There is a very good chance she runs for governor in 2018. If she votes for this in any form, there is no way she wins that race. And we better hope she runs for governor, because Maine could turn that senator seat blue in this environment. Trumpcare is absolutely horrible for an old rural state like Maine. Itās bad for everyone, but brutal for her base here. She will also vote against the budget.
Maine is the oldest state in the country, so . . . yeah.
