Of course she’ll vote to confirm Kavanaugh. It’s what good little Nazis do…

Was never in doubt. All of this was sturm and drang produced for show. On both sides of the aisle. No one in Senate ever really doubted I’ll bet. They all knew how this would turn out.

I’ve got 1.3 million reasons why that’s a bad idea

What this proves is that Mitch wants a final vote this weekend. We now know for a fact that the GOP talk about stretching this debate out because it ‘helps them for the midterms’ is complete bullshit.

This is the same Kamikaze strategy that Mitch ended up going with for the ACA vote. Whether the result is the same depends on 3 Senators (+ Flake…he’s seriously like that weird hanger on in a bad movie who gets screen time for doing nothing meaningful).

As of right now, I would say that things are trending towards ‘no’, but frankly it could go either way and I can’t be sure.

it’s almost up to $1.9M now.

For those holding on to fools hope that she will announce a NO final vote… you are kidding yourselves.

And for those hoping that Murkowski + Flake + Manchin will do the right thing… again, this is all for show. Hem and haw and act agonized and then vote how they were all going to vote anyway and just so happens to be what is best for their chosen immediate political futures.

Collins will look like a magnificent fool if cloture fails. That should be reason enough for some fence-sitters.

Crowdpac has raised almost $2 million to support Susan’s opponent in 2020 should she run again.

Any reason to believe it will fail? Did I miss someone begging for a re-investigation who doesn’t have a D next to their name?

It won’t fail. They wouldn’t do it if they didn’t know it would succeed.

Golly, why might she be pushing back her announcement to a Friday afternoon? Hmmmm…

Ya know, at this point I kinda want them to confirm him. It should be a net positive for the Democrats in the midterms. And the news on him is not going to stop, there’s blood in the water as someone else mentioned yesterday. There will be calls for his recusal on many votes, and the idea of his vote setting a future precedent on cases will be diminished. He will be a constant reminder of how badly the GOP treats women and minorities.

Unfortunately I think many fence-sitters need more evidence of just how craven and hypocritical the GOP has become.

Apparently Sen Collins doesn’t give a shit about abused women! This how Ian interpreting her sad decision!

Tell that to the Obamacare repeal vote last year.

WTF? Does that mean she doesn’t know her decision now but will know it at exactly 3 PM? Is this is a deadline she’s giving herself because otherwise, she’d procrastinate on it forever?

Or does she already know what’s she going to do and this just a way to drum up publicity and drama? Yes, that sounds right, especially since she’s known exactly how she was going to vote from the day good ol’ kindly Barf was nominated.

Such a drama queen.

That was a very special case. Looking at the shock on everybody’s face when it happened tells you just how rare that was. Also, McCain is gone and donchaknow that they repealed it anyway just a short while later?
