Discussion: Colin Powell Offers Uncensored View Of The Clintons In Leaked Emails

And too cowardly to comment on the insane guy running for office.

That’s Colin being manly.

“They are going to dick up the legitimate and necessary use of emails with friggin record rules. I saw email more like a telephone than a cable machine,” he also wrote.

Isn’t he vindicating her here for whatever she did with regard to emails? Once again Hillary is guilty of breaking rules that are made up on the spot and apply only to her.

This fatuous grifter could have helped the country by speaking up SOONER.

This failure is in complete line with his “character.”

Hey the clintons do have a tendency to shoot themselves in the foot sometimes

Yes but more often than not the media sees a piece of dirt on their shoe and speculate weather or not she shot herself in the foot.

“HRC could have killed this two years ago by merely telling everyone honestly what she had done and not tie me into it."

So according to Powell the rabid right wing would have given HRC a pass on the private email server if she would have acknowledged her use, but her audacity in tying him into it was a bridge too far for the noble GOP to ignore.

Different article, Max.

I guess this is the “false equivelancy” Josh railed about yesterday.

"“I would rather not have to vote for her, although she is a friend I
respect,” the retired four-star general wrote of Hillary Clinton in a
July 24, 2014 email to business partner Jeffrey Leeds, published by the
anonymous site DC Leaks. “A 70-year person with a long track record,
unbridled ambition, greedy, not transformational, with a husband still
dicking bimbos at home (according to the NYP).”

Clinton is a friend he respects, and yet he calls her greedy, not transformational, and accuses her of unbridled ambition. What is it, then, that he respects about his “friend”? I never had a lot of respect for Colin Powell and now I have none.

Colin Powell regarded email like a telephone. A tapped telephone, that is.

Two points. His email mentions both Trump and Clinton, but TPM chose the click-bait anti-Clinton headline.

Second point, Powell seems VERY immature and unprofessional. Tantrums, gossip, and innuendo. And his source for info? The NY Post?! Sheesh. He is NOT a classy guy. He’s got that McCain “maverick” who never really stands up for anything when it really counts thing down pat.

This is going to make him look bad. He’s a petty kiss-ass who has better instincts but always ignores them at the critical moment. He chose power, money, and access over country every time.

Colin remains silent hoping for a spot in the Trump administration.

“Colin Powell Offers Uncensored View Of The Clintons In Leaked Emails”

It’s more like “Colin Powell Offers His Uncensored View of the Clintons” rather than a view of them. This is his perspective, and it’s partially based on New York Post reporting.

So the Clintons hate Obama?

Lord I wish someone more drama free (like Obama) was running.

God. Is it fucking November already!?

I can’t take much more of this shit.

And she’s losing Ohio and Florida too.

What a fucking mess.

Slaps self.

Garrison Keillor has a different view.

“Someday historians will get this right and look back at the steady pitter-pat of scandals that turned out to be nothing, nada, zero and ixnay and will conclude that, almost a century after women’s suffrage, almost 50 years after Richard Nixon signed Title IX into law, a woman was required to run for office wearing concrete shoes. Check back fifty years from now and if I’m wrong, go ahead and dance on my grave.”
