Discussion: CNN: Russian Hackers Launched Cyber Attacks On New York Times

The Times did great work exposing Manafort’s work for and payoffs from the former pro-Russian government in Ukraine. So maybe this is payback

Time for the NSA and/or CIA to launch a Stuxnet or two.

Pay Israel to do it. It would be done correctly.

For that matter, why don’t we just pay Israel to go toe-to-toe with the Russkis in Crimea? They’ve officially been anti-Semites since Stalin’s time.

Yes, I suppose there is a lot of self-loathing in Israel.

As much as that’s true, they could justifiably come back at us with “I am rubber, you are glue.”

Still more proof that the only computer that wasn’t hacked was Hillary’s private email server. Rock solid advice from Colin Powell.

Again?!?

Whatever security company cleaned up this hack obviously did a poor job.

The reason they don’t hack Breitbart or Drudge is that the stuff on their homepage is so laughable, the Russians figure they’ve already been hacked.

What can you replace it with that would have more value as propaganda?

Is it me? Or has Putin declared cyber war on us?

They may have done a great job for how they were being attacked 3 years ago. These threats evolve as does the protection.

Who says that there isn’t a cyber war going on now?

Oh. They got in all right but couldn’t make any sense out of what they found.

It’s not just us - it’s most of Europe, too.

Ah, not me. I haven’t posted anything about that.

Trump did say he would get even with The Times.

Now we know why Donald isn’t spending much money on advertising. He’s using it to recruit and compensate Eastern European “media” experts who hack and ruin the identities of American citizens.

It’s also the reason the RNC is so upset about Hillary’s personal cell phone account. Nobody gets to hack it. Her private emails are public record; and are, therefore, not open to the opportunity of blackmail or extortion.

Isn’t that part of Drumpf’s Israeli outreach?

Every intel agency in this country is feverishly, daily, hourly hacking the computer systems of every nation on the planet.

This might explain the content of Maureen Dowd’s columns.
