Little Marco has already confirmed that he didn’t fund the the dossier, but would have used it if he had it…
And you were born a moronic sheep.
James Clapper was on CNN New Day Alysin Camerota about the latest Russia controversies: “But the critical issue is the involvement of an adversary nation state, meaning Russia,” he continued. “The community assessment we put out last January 6th stood on its own. It did not include evidence from anything from the dossier. Some of what was in the dossier, not all by any stretch, some of that was corroborated in our ICA, which we had very high confidence in.”
The investigation started before the dossier was discovered:
“Was it the dossier that then caused the intel community to go and do digging, or did you have concerns in the intel community before the dossier, and the dossier was superfluous. Were they connected?” Camerota asked.
“Not really. The intelligence community assessment was based on a body of evidence from many sources: signal intelligence, cyber, human intelligence, in which we had very high confidence of the magnitude and aggressive nature of the Russian interference,” Clapper replied.
Which part of doing opposition research is illegal? Which part of paying people to do opposition research is illegal? and, sadly, what part of this largely factual dossier of information actually kept the Orange One from being elected?
So why are they playing dumb? Nothing they said convinced anyone of anything. After all they could just ask.
I didn’t notice that I had a hangnail. The other day, my wife saw it. She’s launching an investigation into my denial. CNN’s doing an expose. I’m ruined.
Hey, NYT & CNN…ever think of asking anyone at Perkins ? Seems obvious there’s a need to know what they may have to tell…
I’m not so sure there’s a reason to wring deception out of this. From what I’ve read the role of the Democratic Party and the Clinton campaign with Fusion GPS was separated by at least one intermediate layer. They hired a guy that hired Fusion. It’s very possible that Podesta and DWS had no knowledge of the Fusion thing because it never panned out for the campaign. Had it produced a blockbuster they would have been introduced to it but until then it was oppo stuff in the basement.
But the GOP will milk it for they can. There’s no evidence of wrong doing in any of the Fusion stuff. But I would’t be surprised if it was talked about by the GOP and the MSM with the tenor and tone as if there was.
I’d think a lot more of Podesta and Wasserman Schultz if they had been involved in the Dossier, hook, line, and sinker.
I deny having knowledge of this report as well.
So why isn’t my denial being featured on CNN and in the NYT?
What am I – diced gefilte fish?
Where’s the fucking outrage over this? Moron’s data firm working with Assange? It’s a lot clearer than old story dossier, presumed MSM betrayal and accusation of lying DNC staff. Rebekah Mercer, part of the Mercer family that helped make moron president is involved.
the big deal is that republicans are trying to paint this as exactly the same as when Don Jr told a russian government agent “I love it!” and rushed to meet them to get dirt on Hillary.
To be fair I think the difference is still subtle enough for me to have trouble explaining it to all my trumper relatives and I wouldn’t mind seeing well written descriptions of how these two things are different from a legal perspective.
Based on what?? The bullshit lies you Bernie Bros continue to cling to? I know it’s hard, really hard to admit you got trickrolled by the Russians but that’s exactly what happened. You, just like the Republicans, were spoonfed a bunch of lies that matched your firmly held belief that “we was robbed” and you’ve been degrading every woman in the Democratic Party every since. It’s disgusting.
Let me unsubtle it for you: the operative words that make the difference are Russian government agent.
Meanwhile…
Mmmmmm hmmph
Mmmmmm hmmph is right…
What the fuck is this story about? I swear I don’t understand why Democrats aren’t just saying “Who cares?”. The whole thing amounts to “Politicians paid someone to dig up dirt on other politicians”. Hasn’t this been SOP for literally centuries? My only question is, is the dirt true and can I read it?
From the beginning, the so-called dossier has always been described as “oppo research.” So of course it was paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign or the DNC (which was acting as a subsidiary of the Hillary campaign). Fat lot of good it did them. No journalist except David Corn would touch it before the election.
Anyway, it was a mistake to run the Hillary general election campaign like it was a referendum on Trump. It was a change election, and Trump was the only candidate left in the race promising change. All those negative TV ads may have discouraged voters the Dems needed at the polls.
