I think this e-mail is phony.
Had she passed along a question that wasn’t about the water and was asked about in the debate – that might have been something.

Much ado about nothing. The candidates were in Flint, Michigan, and it was a given that someone in the audience would ask the question or one quite similar. Clinton would have been prepared to answer, Donna Brazile, or no Donna. Why would the Clinton campaign take the time to read or authenticate all the emails given to Wikileaks by Russian intelligence? We don’t know whether the emails were altered or not. There is no story here.

Judging from her response that I linked to above, I believe that she passed on debate questions.
Brazile did not give a coherent explanation other than to say she won’t respond to content that was stolen, the hacked emails, and that she will not let herself be “persecuted” by Megyn Kelly who grilled her for an explanation. She also accused Kelly of being a “thief.”
“As a Christian woman, I understand persecution,” Brazile told Kelly. “Your information is false. What you’re – well, for suggestive e-mails were stolen. You’re interested and you’re like a thief that wants to bring into the night the things that.”
“I have seen so many doctored emails. I have seen things that come from me at 2 in the morning that I don’t even send. There are several email addresses that I once used. This has not been verified. This is under investigation,” Brazile also said.
“Go to Russia,” Brazile said as the segment ended.
I did not find that a coherent explanation, myself.
Not a story. She was going to resign the talkinghead/pundit job soon anyway after permanently getting the Chair position.

Is it just me or is anybody else disturbed by the continued use of emails? This was sent well after the email controversy. FFS use a damn phone, have a frigging face to face meeting!

By the time Wikileaks is finished there won’t be a Democratic Party. That was Bernie’s goal too.

Interim DNC chair Donna Brazile’s email is purported to have read, “Psst! The debate’s in Flint, Michigan!”
The subject line: “Hillary, you’re going to be debating in Flint, Michigan.”
Some commentators believe Brazile was out of line when she advised Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton to go to Flint, Michigan and answer the questions of the people of Flint, Michigan.

It doesn’t make sense to me that if Brazile were actually trying to put her thumb on the scale in Clinton’s favor, that she would have leaked this particular question, since it was the one that was most obviously going to be asked due to the debate’s location. An unlikely question that did come up at the debate would strike me as actually nefarious.

The fact that the supposedly leaked question was never asked in the debate—and the fact that she said the same thing to both Hillary’s and Bernie’s campaigns—your insistence that Brazille did something wrong shows a total lack of thought on your part.

This is beyond ludicrous. It would not have mattered if both candidates had the entire list of questions in advance - is anyone going to tell me he could have won a debate with her even with all the questions in advance?

I agree that the leaked question wouldn’t have made a bit of difference in the outcome of the debate.
I also believe that Brazile leaked it. But it’s not a big deal, unless you’re CNN I guess.
So CNN says no one had access to the questions in advance and none were shared with Brazille. But somehow she is being accused of sharing one question with the Clinton campaign - that she obtained exactly how? Is she psychic? Or is she just an experienced campaign operative who could predict that in a town hall in Ohio there would be a question about Flint?
And yet Lewindowski remains a paid commentator on CNN
This is precisely why I refuse to watch CNN anymore. They have lost all journalistic integrity imho
