Zimmerman told his story, too. Even the bigots who idolized George for killing a black kid at the time wouldn’t be caught dead in the same room with him now.
Wilson allowed his temper and nerves to get the better of him over something as trivial as jaywalking. He panicked in the line of duty as well. He’ll never live down the trigger-happy decisions he made that day. Wilson ruined his and Brown’s life that day. He was trained to do otherwise. He just wasn’t up to handling the job he was hired to do.
That’s why he and the entire police force in neighboring Jennings, MO were fired several years earlier. There is nothing professional about Wilson or the Ferguson MO police force. It needs to be disbanded as well.
Based on tapes that were released, it appears that as Wilson pulled away, he got the call on the strongarm robbery and the description matched Brown, so he backed up.
Here’s an idea, why not wait for all the evidence to be released, and then try to judge Wilson. I think the key is how far the shots were fired from . And NO ONE has ascertained that yet. 50 feet? Wilson is at fault. 15 feet and Brown moving toward Wilson when told to stop? Brown’s fault. We have NO IDEA until all forensics are looked at and all testimony is heard, which of those two scenarios is true. ANYONE cherry picking witnesses from EITHER side is just showing their bias.
No one on here or on sites like FOX want to hear the evidence. It’s amazing, everyone has their preconceived notion of what happened and will hear ZERO evidence that contradicts it. Amazing.
I see, so all the TV stations are trying to get an interview with him …because they think no one will watch? ANYONE connected to this case in ANY way will be chased by TV people.
The failure of a grand jury to indict doesn’t mean Wilson is out of the woods. If memory serves, double jeopardy doesn’t apply at the grand jury. A new grand jury could indict him if this one doesn’t.
If indicted, Wilson likely won’t be interviewed, and witnesses and others involved need to be careful as well. If there is a trial, all comes out then, interviews are not needed.
If Wilson is not indicted, he gets interviewed. And if it goes to trial, he will be interviewed after the trial, whether acquitted or convicted.
Hell, the media would have interviewed bin Laden if they could have secured an interview. It’s all about ratings.
Why would a prosecutor convene a second Grand Jury, if even such a thing can be done? If he does not get an indictment, but wants one, he can just indict himself. If he gets an indictment, it goes to trial and he does not need another Grand Jury.
It would depend on what he says in the interview or if other newly discovered evidence comes to light. Of course, this particular prosecutor is said to be more interested in protecting the police than in justice, so you are probably right. Of course, the feds can still indict.
My point is double jeopardy doesn’t apply to the failure of a grand jury to indict. Maybe Wilson should be careful if he thinks he is going to get rich off killing Brown.
