Craig did technically resign from that position - you are right. However, it was a resignation under pressure as he was being moved out regardless. The general explanation was that Craig bore responsibility for the poor handling of Obamaâs attempts to close Gitmo (He did not anticipate congressional objections and put Obama in a difficult position.)

Yes we will take our lumps. But it has been running 99-1 against the Rs. I would love for it to be shown that 40-50 republicans have Rubles in their warchest and 0 dems. Those Dâs who have gone out adventuring as mercenaries are troubling but I believe are outliers. I expected more Dâs to be implicated but refreshingly almost every rock you turn over has a russian and a republican under itâŚand after 2 yrs of investigating this only 3 marginal Dâs have any taint. None of them are elected Ds. Just mercenaries who once did work for Dems.

Being old enough to not only remember all of this, but also remembering that all my kids were adults at the time, makes me feel especially old. When I saw âGreg Craigâ in the headline I just had some kind of PTSD buzz. We deserve a break today. Please, get everyone with a brain to vote so we can go back to reading books for pleasure and working in the garden.
