This is not going to look good for Trump if Jared gets arrested for espionage. It also makes it more likely that Ivanka may have committed some light treason as well.

I guess my question is, is there anything Cummings can actually do about this? What if Trump continues to tell him to go pound sand? What happens? Cummings files subpoenas, they ignore them, it goes to Supreme Court as jurisdictional dispute? Since Trump has stuffed the Supreme Court, I have my doubts how this plays out.

Yes, I understand the Rule of Law in the abstract. But what concrete actions can Cummings take? He can subpoena. If that is ignored, can he have someone arrested? I don’t know enough about this kind of law.
