Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Condisleeza and yes, Colin Powell need to roast in hell.
What itâs all about! Which makes Demsâ capitulation even more despicable. And please donât forget, folks, there are still a lot of VA clients who were conscripted when they opted not to flee to Canada.
Thanks Jaxx - I was one of the conscripted ones. And yes the Dems capitulated. Thereâs blood on everyoneâs hands.
That soldiers Parents just got through telling us he was receiving treatment in the States back in 2008. Just to bring you up to date, President Barack Obama did not take office till Jan. 20th, 2009.
Google is pretty easy to use and can be useful to a person who thinks facts are important, when forming an opinion.
I stand corrected but you do get my point Iâm sure. There are hundreds of American Afghan War vets who have committed suicide since 2009. And letâs not leave out the thousands of innocent Afghans who were also victims of this war.
Just like the government, there are career people who donât really care, they do what they want. Congress cut off money when it should have been increased(through sequestration), War isnât forgiving. The previous administration didnât care about all of our boys and girls in harms way, or they would have planned for it. They didnât help the service members from previous wars.
Been there before and fortunately for me I was getting help for a number of years privately and now I am being seen by a VA Psychologist for PTSD, Major Depression and a few other problems so I know exactly how this veteran felt.
Itâs still a daily struggle and itâs hard for anyone who has never had to deal with PTSD and Depression to really understand whatâs itâs like to have PTSD and whatâs going on with a person that does.
I still do not like to go to sleep because I still have recurrent kill dreams and sometimes the depression gets so bad I just crawl under my blankets and stay there till it passes.
I was lucky I guess because I was being seen by a private doctor at first on a weekly basis and then likewise when I transitioned into the VA Mental Healthcare system then eventually, with a lot of hard work and daily diligence, was able to reduced the appointments down to monthly visits but I still have people I can call when things get bad, from my doctor to a few of the nurses I work with.
