Discussion: Cliven Bundy Supporters Promise Protest Before Vegas Court Appearance

Discussion for article #247171

If they get a dozen I’ll be shocked. I can’t do it, but I hope gun control and stupid control people will go to protest and outnumber the Bundys.

And how is it that I hadn’t made the connection between the FOX TV show Married With Children and the Bundys? They must all be related.

Please note that according to the Bundy clan, the First Amendment right to Freedom of Speech only works when it is used in conjunction with packing heat, per the Second Amendment (as interpreted by the late Justice Scalia).

I’ll wager that the Feds will be paying careful attention to who shows up for the protest armed, with a handy list of prior convictions that make possession of a firearm a felony. These morons just keep walking into the fan blades…

Maybe they can hit a few casinos later. Security just loves to see armed patrons.

Sort of like a Marco Rubio rally I guess.

Good. Let them come and make asses of themselves. Then lock them up too!

They asked Al Bundy how he felt about his insane relatives getting locked up…

Cliven Bundy denies U.S. government authority over rangeland around his 160 acres.

I hadn’t really picked up on this before. If you’ve got 160 acres, you’re not a “rancher.” With a few mules, you might aspire to “sharecropper.” Without access to free grazing land, Bundy would have faced financial ruin years ago.

Yeah, I still do not get that. I mean it is legal for them to do it but it hardly comes off as peaceful protesting if you could kill somebody at any moment.

I certainly hope Peg wears her leopard-print capri pants with the matching 6" stiletto pumps.
So much more stylish than anything that skanky hag Michele Fiore could pull off.

The Supreme Court has fallen a long way since Miranda, who obviously didn’t kidnap and rape a woman with the intention of helping suspects understand their rights, to the Bundys, whose crimes were clearly intended to make a run at nullifying the whole Bureau of Land Management.

Scalia’s judicial activism wasn’t enough. Bundy has escalated it to judicial terrorism. I’m curious whether Scalia’s death will affect Bundy’s criminal defense, and I’m predicting a slowdown in corporate funded lawyers recruiting civil plaintiffs and criminal defendants to match the cases they want to bring before SCOTUS.

Ya, even with free grazing, Bundy’s looking at the Chevy work truck instead of the GMC with leather and satellite radio. And Congress just voted to outlaw raised-in-America labels on beef, so Bundy’s in the same boat as United Auto Workers competing with the Mexicans who build the trucks.

Looks like the whole Bundy family and their supporters are going to be there!

Won’t be a party unless their biggest guns are there. You know, someone who can represent the biggest boobs of the Tea Party:

Michele Fiore: Tea Party Boobzilla’ of Nevada

. . . from the family home in Bunkerville

Wow – “Bunkerville”? LOL.

Don’t worry, Momma – Daddy and Junior will be spending a LOT of quality time together.

Is Hannity going?

Well, it IS perfectly legal …right up to the second that they start issuing slightly veiled threats that a jury would have every right to consider on the context of their past behavior. They don’t seem to be real clear about where that line is.

Just a few advance questions for the event planners:

Will this be an armed protest?
Could you express the amount of government largess in dollars–
your protest group has bilked U.S. taxpayers for?
Annually? Lifetime?
Could you provide your answer with video-- online please?

This way we can get this info into the public sphere
and prevent any unwarranted misconceptions
as to who and what you people really are-- and do.
Thanks in advance!
