She delivered that speech, which was hitting every note perfectly on the actual serious stuff going on in the world…and Trump is talking about his golf course getting dumped for one in Mexico

Oh, I agree with you. What I meant–and obviously did not make clear–is that its perfectly clear, and has been since forever, that Drumpf should be disqualified from having the launch codes (or anything similar) given his temperament.
This speech has been touted on every notional network since yesterday morning, so I’m hoping it will be heavily reported. In any case I can’t wait for Donnie’s stack to blow. Kind of like Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam.
This is one of HRC’s better speeches. Clear, on point, and I believe effective in articulating the chasm between her experience and judgement in foreign affairs, and the complete lack thereof in Donald Trump. But expect another Trump Primal Rant!
I keep thinking that Hillary’s team (or one of the DNC PACs) needs to remake the old LBJ mushroom cloud ad that targeted Goldwater. The spot only ran once and it sure made an impression. And the message sure fits this cycle.

You can keep it simpler than that. Would you stay on a gun range with a guy spewing like Trump? Keep up the Drunk Uncle angle. Unfit, unreliable, lack of impulse control, etc.

I think all of us political junkies constantly make the mistake of completely overestimating the intelligence, attentiveness, and the awareness of the American people. We assume most folks are at least 1/10 as politically aware as we are. They’re not. Even the ones who are relatively in tune with current events are often, in my experience, woefully either misinformed or under-informed. So, the obvious must be stated again and again and again and again because for a sad, unfortunate number of people it’ll still be the first time it dawns on them or the first time they hear it.
