“The conservative news site has been criticized for heavily favoring Trump in its coverage, reporting his assertions about President Barack Obama having secret ties to the Islamic State terror group as fact”
But I am sure they will push aside their Alex Jones conspiracies to author a totally unbiased poll of how well the “Kenyan Muslim’s” apologist is doing against the white Supemacist guy.
and once again, Johnson is getting Republican voters who might have voted for an establishment candidate. At the current rate that Stein is going, both she and Trump will be the only folks who have stock in that ‘October surprise’.
Disclaimer - I am neither a pollster nor a statistician
BUT
how can an automated phone poll have a margin of error of only 1.8%? How many people actually answer their phone and stay on long enough to do an automated poll? I know I wouldn’t…
“It’s an open secret that polls are often manipulated and spun to create momentum for a particular candidate or issue,” Marlow said. “Breitbart News Network’s first national poll marks the start of a major initiative to give our readers an accurate assessment on where the American people stand on the key topics and people of the day — without the mainstream media filter.”
We will see, but Perot in '92 (a much stronger candidate than Johnson now) was polling in the 30’s at one point. However, as it got closer to the election GOPers and Dems came home. So Perot got just 19%. Bush senior was no where near the train wreck as is Trump now. So I suspect many GOPers will do a lot of soul searching before they vote for Hillary rather than Johnson in the end.
Teehee. Even Breitbart/Gravis poll can’t find a way to put Don the Con ahead…but let’s face it, a poll with a 1.8 margin of error with a actual history of getting things so wrong is hardly a poll worth paying attention to, and just one in the burgeoning industry of pollsters flooding the electorate now with good and bad data points that all get thrown into the mix. If the Gravis poll has Clinton up by 5% points in a 4-way race, I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s probably up by a lot more than that.
Matt Drudge drops by to see the “unskewed” Breitbart poll results while Breitbart’s chief pollster conducts his assessment:
bwwwwaahhaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
“In 2012, Obama gathered 93 percent of 67 percent African-American turnout, but Clinton has support from 80 percent of black voters, with Trump’s 11 percent almost doubling Romney’s 6 percent.”
Uh-huh. Sure, why not. Makes perfect sense. The blacks love Donald.
There are some people who will never ever believe that the sky is blue, or 2+2=4 or that Dick Cheney is actually the father of Bughuul from the Sinister movies. They used to be a small crazy minority, but now they’re the base of the Republican Party, and they do not understand that they are still just a crazy minority, no matter how many tv camera’s turn to them, or how many super pacs throw money at them.
The rest of the country is just not interested in following them over that cliff.
