When you are a woman you try to keep the following in mind: You must be perfect. There is a presumption that women are incompetent, and every misstep validates that presumption. In other words, you can only lose points. You can’t gain. Whereas, men are presumed to be competent so missteps are shrugged off as having a bad day. You see this in nearly every walk of life. For instance, a man has only to change a few diapers to have all and sundry beaming about what a great dad he is. Whereas, a woman has only to miss a single preschool performance event for many people to see her as a terrible mom.

Oh? You did? I totally missed that. All I saw were the insults directed @ronbyers and @centralasiaexpat .

Let’s just take one example of what I presume you mean by misogyny. Centralasiaexpat mentioned the “smirk” on HRC’s face. Is that sexist? I’ve noticed sometimes a smirk on HRC’s face. I’ve also noticed the perpetual smirk on Trump’s face. Or Ron’s comment that the some of her supporters have waited a lifetime for a woman. That’s not true? I’ve had people tell me here that it was essential that she get’s elected now, because if not, it will set back women in politics 100 years. I don’t know a better definition of a “true believer”, and true believers don’t tolerate much deviation from the cause.

Some of those true believers are even willing to slander good Democrats who disagree with them by labeling them as ignorant misogynists, if you can believe that!

I look at that map and get totally disgusted how f’ing stupid most of the country is. I would suggest building that wall along the Mason Dixon but look at all the red in the north and the west.

I thought the times when we looked at women simply as “Queen for a Day” were over. Guess not. Believe it or not, there are some people in the entertainment business that are still trying to sell us a revival of that retrograde type show, as if people still think that’s a good thing, like the swimwear segment of a beauty pageant…or the entire concept of a beauty pageant for that matter. As far as I’m concerned, it long ago overstayed its welcome.

The Hillary Stumble is, yet again, a demonstration of the arrogance and inability of Her Patnsuitedness to listen to anyone other than herself. She had pneumonia. The doctors said “Take a couple days off”. Did she listen to the doctors? Did she listen to the professionals about the lack of security in the email server? Did she listen to anyone about “pay-for-play” as SoS?

No, of course not. She listens to NOBODY but herself. Probably doesn’t even listen to Shill anymore.

She’s arrogant and unable to hear any contradictory voice. And that is very concerning.

I dunno…I don’t trust this shit. This year there have been an explosion of pollsters added into the mix. Every pollster believes their own shit doesn’t stink. But who knows until election day is over and we can judge by the final results?

I can accept its tightening, but I’m just not gonna whip myself up into a tizzy that this means some kind of significant shit. Honestly, after watching the way the media has handled tRump’s lies for the past year in such a despicable manner bordering on journalistic malpractice…I’m not sure some of these pollsters are also handling their polls with similar disregard, leaving out critical criteria from which to judge the electorate.

Nick, Clinton was a senator from New York on 9/11. Against medical advice to rest, she attended the ceremony to pay her respects to those who suffered from the attacks. Her decision may not have been wise, but it is quite understandable, at least to me, and I see concern rather than arrogance in her decision. Of course, if you’re determined to think the worst…

Damn! What planet did you drop in from? Hillary’s entire career is based on the very fact that she does listen. She has spent a lifetime soliciting as much advice and opinion as possible before making her decisions or crafting her policies. That WHY she’ll succeed as POTUS.
