Your logic is perfect. A nasal drip in the throat usually is the cause of a coughing fit like that. It happens to me, too. It takes a while to cough it out, so to speak. But there is really nothing wrong as in sickness.

Exactly. And in my case I have intermittent semi-paralysis and spasming in the left vocal fold, so all the coughing in the world does me no good when the left side won’t cough. I would tell you what caused it, but then people might try to extrapolate it to Hillary.

Agree, oceanic and power1952 – Seasonal allergies, maybe even a touch of asthma, exacerbated by all the talking. She should always have water with her, and yes, something like flonase and maybe a steroid inhaler for daily use. A vocal coach to teach her how to save her voice might be good too.

Indeed. She probably made it worse (or last longer) by sniffling in so deeply…which just causes more nasal drip (usually filled with whatever is causing the reaction in the first place).
Its that time of year up that way when all those fall thingies start floating around in the air. (My Samoyed hated early fall, he always got hot spots from something in the air that time of year).

Her health problems are make believe; the coughing fit has been thoroughly dissected as if her health problems weren’t completely made up. This is the strangest election ever.

Hillary coughed? That’s conclusive proof that she has end-stage emphysema and possibly lung cancer and is therefore unfit to serve. No other conclusions may be drawn from this.

Hillary Clinton probably has hay fever. I believe her medical and health summary included her taking Claritin as needed for allergies. Anyone wanting to make a big deal about a person showing symptoms of hay fever by coughing with puffy and watery eyes in September, really knows nothing about common allergies. Ragweed is a particular culprit this time of year in the midwest.
What she didn’t count on is that there is a probably new kind of ragweed out there named Ambrosia Carotene, named after the Orangeman. I hear it even makes babies cry and dogs want to vomit when in its proximity. Its poisonous too.

So the only thing at this rally that TPM considered worthy of coverage is HRC’s coughing episode. It’s nice to see this site doing its bit to perpetuate the right wing narrative about HRC’s health.
