Maybe it took him a while to learn by getting them caught in traps and shortened!
Looks like we posted about this idiocy at the same time!
But how stupid is Fox? I wish Clinton and Warren would make their next appearance together with the members of the Blue Man Group, just to drive the FauxNews jagoffs to fucking distraction! (Of course, they probably wouldnât get the joke.)
Very hopeful. My guess is that her numbers right now represent a floor for the campaign - thereâs a lot of potential upside, especially when you figure that backward-looking turnout models are almost certainly going to under-estimate Hispanic turnout.
But I canât see people getting complacent as a result of favorable polls. Trump is such an - unusual - candidate that a lot of voters are going to be eager to pile on against him. Come November, Iâll have been hearing his toxic shtick for nearly 18 months, and pulling the lever for Hillary will be my first chance to do something tangible about him and all that he represents. Eight percent isnât enough - we should be aiming for a crushing blow against white nationalist politics.
I hope that as more people get a chance to see and listen to her, theyâll begin to see that she is capable, smart, compassionate and totally qualified to be president. Republicans have tried for years to drag her down and stomp her, and sheâs always come back. You have to have a grudging respect for her resilience! She has certainly been put through what no male candidate would be.
And really, Trumpâs worldview, shared by his supporters, is what needs to be put down and stomped out. Our vision for America is a better, more progressive world, one we can be proud of.
There couldnât be two more different candidates.
The first poll theyâve had in Texas in 10 months and Drumpf leads Clinton 41-33. 8 pointsâŚin Texas? IIRC, there hasnât been a GOPer defeat a Dem by less than 12 points (excepting 1992 & 1996 when the Texan Perot ran third party) in the last 40 years. Clinton is unlikely to turn Texas blue but this poll shows Drumpfâs weakness with non-white voters. Heâll lose states GOPers often carry because of it.
If all Fox can do is criticize wardrobe choices, which can be easily remedied, itâs going to be tough-going for its âfair and balancedâ news.
Hahahaha!
Ending one of the longest, costliest and most bitterly partisan congressional investigations in history, the House Select Committee on Benghazi issued its final report on Tuesday, finding no new evidence of culpability or wrongdoing by Hillary Clinton in the 2012 attacks in Libya that left four Americans dead.
She beats them again!!!
Yes, I saw that poll, too â itâs not just the margin, itâs the fact that Trump is only at 41%! Agreed, the Dems donât really have a realistic shot at Texas, but in the meantime the GOP is actually going to have to divert resources to defend a state they usually win by 20%.
Very true. Thatâs not a good sign for Drumpf. The Johnson effect may result in a close margin in Texas.
Hey! Theyâre wearing different ties! (Except for the red ones!)
If this is indeed dry sarcasm, well done!
Good thing more than 1000 people will be voting in November.
I especially like that 41% think Trumpster is honest/straightforward and 47% think he can deal with the economy.
Oy.
Can someone point to the actual poll questions and responses? Canât find anything that isnât third hand.
The link at the beginning of this article goes to the Scribd page.
There are still a lot of people not paying close attention to the election. If you take the same poll a month after the conventions, it will look very different.
PPP has a really devastating poll out today.
It concerns the stonewalling of Garland and the polled IA, PA, OH, AZ, NH and WI.
Overwhelmingly, people want Obama to appoint the Judge, not Trump. They want Hillary to do it instead of Trump. The biggest lead is in IA, where Grassley has 7 points, but all other races have the republican underwater or tied.
And Hillary leads in every state except AZ.
Here is how I see the scenarioâŚTrump is far too big of a problem for the GOP, to have to spend additional cycles on any other issue. Yet McConnell has hung this SCOTUS nomination around their collective necks. Something is going to have to give, they simply cannot run against both of these hurdles.

Like Brexit, reality is setting in. The thought of being governed by a yammering yam is nauseating to most.
Being tribal is one thing but voting against your own self interest to win a pissing match is just plain stoopid. Only the hardcore dumb go that route.
Trump obviously needs to make another detailed, nuanced and hard hitting speech (in garble language) to turn this tide. Then again, no one has deciphered the depth of his last bloviations in Scotland.
Remember folks, the bigger the loss, the louder his head will explode. I want to hear it here on the west coast; donât let me down!
I strive for the understated, extra-dry wit of GoET, but never really get there.
