Discussion: Clinton Emails Search Finds Just 1 New Message About Benghazi

Clearly this utterly innocuous email casts a cloud over her campaign. Or a shadow. Can’t remember if we’re on shadow or cloud. Both? Over to you, NYTimes.

As long as it’s not a penumbra. I won’t brook any penumbras.

You’ve captured perfectly the thought process of the Hillary Haters™. Now, step away from the Kool-Aid…

I think that it’s the shadow of a cloud here, but regardless we can all agree that the “optics” of this are terrible news for the Clinton campaign /s

I think it’s the shadow of the cloud of a smoking gun!

(And honestly, I’m surprised they came up with that many.)

So much money and time for nothing, from the party that claims to care about taxes, debt, and life.

The innocuous nature of the new Benghazi email is a setback for Republicans in Congress

Everybody sickened by this apparently straight-faced statement, raise your hand. You know what should be a “setback” for Republicans - or any true American, FFS?

ACTUAL EVIDENCE OF A CONSPIRACY OR MALFEASANCE BY THE SECRETARY OF STATE!

We don’t have that! So why isn’t this a fucking “triumph” for all of us, including Republicans?

Because Republicans are assholes. QED

How many millions of dollars have the repukes wasted on finding one lonely banghazi-gaism email?

“I watched with great admiration as she dealt with a tough and personally painful issue in a fair, candid, and determined manner,” Shannon wrote of Clinton’s Senate testimony. “I was especially impressed by her ability to turn aside the obvious efforts to politicize the events in Benghazi, reminding Americans of the tremendous sacrifice made by (U.S. ambassador to Libya) Chris Stevens and his colleagues but also insisting that our ability to play a positive role in the world and protect U.S. interests requires a willingness to take risks.”

WOW! You found it! Send her to jail gop/bag repukes! /snark

But great for John McCain!

The State Department said in court last week it had identified about 30 emails from the FBI haul that were potentially responsive to Judicial Watch’s request for messages related to the Benghazi attack. But after further review, the department said in its latest court filing that all but one of those were duplicative of emails already made public.

And this is exactly the problem with all of this crap. After saying last week that there were 30 and getting press for doing so, now they say, “Ooops, actually there was just one and it wasn’t about Benghazi but about her testimony about Benghazi.”

She gets ripped apart in the press for the suggestion of doing something wrong, but when it turns out there was nothing actually improper or unethical it gets covered in paragraph 9 on page 13.
