Discussion: Clinton Camp Hits Back At Trump's IRS Fine: That's 'Actual Pay-To-Play!'

FBI dumped a lot of Clinton emails, so media is busy with other stuff.

No, no, no, no. You aren’t paying attention. The noble and vaunted Chief Justice John Roberts says it’s only quid pro quo if there is a document signed in blood and fully notarized saying that I, Bondi, take money from you, Trump, to drop your case. Otherwise, they’re just having a conversation.

It would help if our “liberal” media would pay as much attention to stories like this about Trump as they do to HRC’s email server.

The Corporate Media respond in unity:

“This whole incident just reinforces how ‘refreshing’ and ‘authentic’ Trump is. Being caught red-handed bribing the Attorney General to drop criminal charges will only hurt him among the most-rabid Clinton supporters.”

This certainly explains Trump’s early adoption of “Crooked Hillary” – to inoculate himself from proof of actual crookedness by projecting it onto her first. It’s “I know you are but what am I,” but with the foundation laid ahead of time. Clever!

Hey, reporters! Instead of griping endlessly about Clinton denying your self-interested requests for pressers, how’s about doing some actual reporting and give us that side-by-side Trump Foundation vs. Clinton Foundation breakdown? Think anybody might be interested to know how many lives have been saved by the Trump Foundation?

It’s a dark, shadowy day for the HRC campaign as storm clouds once again gather and roil, with a foreboding presence like the coming of the long dark winter and associated melancholia…

NYT worthy, folks?

I’ve got $10 on it that she will be using this one again in the debates.
(and I can’t imagine what a circus the debates will be)

I highly suspect she likely is under investigation but that it’s been under wraps. For sure, she should be under investigation. She’s not the only one – TX is just as guilty.[/quote]

Remember, she also spoke at the RNC… That seems like a strange thing to do if she were under investigation. Or maybe it’s the opposite? Maybe she’s trying to play up a relationship above and beyond the bribe.

Its Florida.

Truthfully, I’ve lost track of how many times these GOPers are trying to re-write what is “normal,” or ethical and with what kind of outrageous statement, scandal, hate, obfuscation, etc., they’re using to do so. These people are fucking amazing acrobats.

Why not call a bribe a bribe? What possible reason could a NYC real estate mogul have to donate to a Florida attorney general’s campaign? The quid pro quo here is so obvious even a blind man could see it. Did Trump donate to other Florida politicians that year? I only hope against hope that Hillary will nail him with this in the debates. Bondi should be under serious investigation, but of course who’s going to investigate the attorney general?

My thoughts exactly. You know, President Obama has played the nice cop. Here’s to hoping Madame President Clinton will play the bad I’m Coming After You cop.

Hasn’t anyone in Florida asked for a special prosecutor? I think there may be one or two Democratic officeholders left there.

Anyone with the minimum-sized balls?
