Discussion: Clinton Calls Tulsa Police Shooting Of Unarmed Black Man 'Intolerable'

And then you have the NRA boogie-men pitching their fun brand of hysteria…

NRA warns voters that Clinton will leave them unprotected

The National Rifle Association’s new spot is aimed at people who are already afraid, and hammers Hillary Clinton for wanting to leave them defenseless.

I’m waiting Donald…I mean who is HILLARY to denounce the shooting of a black man or take white people to task when she doesn’t BELIEVE in the 2nd Amendment and wants to take your guns away???

HRC: “Maybe I can, by speaking directly to white people, say, look, this is not who we are.”

Trump/Pence/GOP Base: “Speak for yourself.”

Headline (unless I’m reading it wrong) isn’t what she said: “I mean, this is just unbearable, and it needs to be intolerable.” The NEEDS to be is, I believe, a big deal.

Aw c’mon, Hill: Can you think of anything more dangerous than an unarmed black pastor with a stalled car?

When Trump returns the U.S. to the halcyon days of yesteryear, when we were great, this sort of event won’t merit much notice. Just like it wouldn’t have merited special mention in 1922.

Agree…there’s a lot of difference.

He was a pastor?!!! Oh, no.

It was intolerable. all right. It was also a deplorable MURDER.

If not for the NRA all firearms would have been confiscated on a four-year basis forever and ever.

No Hillary deary, what’s really intolerable is that someone kneels when the National Anthem is being played! The Horror!

The thing that tells you the most about these shootings is that none of the officers every give the people they shoot any kind of first aid, or rush to call for paramedics. They consider the people they shoot deserving of death…right there that tells you the police don’t look at these people as human beings but as an enemy. That needs to be drummed out of the police force immediately, it’s inexcusable behavior to shoot someone in a situation like this when there is no threat.

Just listen to the helicopter pilot talk about this black man, that is how a lot of white police officers really feel.

He raised his arms - but unlike the trees in Michigan, he didn’t raise them the right height.

He wasn’t belligerent - no, he was, in fact, suspiciously calm.

He didn’t have any weapons - but being black is a weapon unto itself apparently.

The video shows that the cops lied. Mr. Crutcher did have his hands up until he placed them on the car in a to-be-frisked manner. He was then tasered to the ground and then executed while helpless. The on-scene police left him to bleed out on the pavement unattended for two minutes or more.

Mr. Crutcher’s deliberate murder is just the latest recorded example of police racist brutality against non-whites. I wish this video would be shown on every sports-venue jumbotron while the national anthem is played. Then let Americans judge whether the scattered athlete silent protests are misplaced!

Well, at least she didn’t say it was deplorable. That would have been intolerable.

Police said that Crutcher refused to raise his hands, according to an AP report, although in the video the victim appears to put his hands on his vehicle.

So once again what the Police claim happened doesn’t match what the video shows happening. Leaving aside consequences for the shootings themselves, when will the police start facing consequences for this apparently rampant habit of lying about their interactions with the public?

You know crossing this article with the Wells Fargo scandal. If we could just flip Police treatment of minorities and the Feds treatment of Wall Street shenanigans, so that the Police showed minorities the same kind of deference that the Federal government show CEOs and the Federal government treated CEOs as harshly as the Police treat minorities it would fix a lot of this country’s problems.

There she goes again, assuming that just because the guy wasn’t stopped by the cops, that he was unarmed, that he had his hands in the air and that he was surrounded by cops with weapons drawn, he was shot unjustifiably. Talk about jumping to conclusions!

Yep. “That looks like a bad dude,” he says. Not only is the pilot an “eye in the sky,” he does character evaluations … just like Jeebus!
