Clinton Ally Files Ethics Complaint Against Gowdy…

Ye reap what ye sow junior.
Looks like Gowdy Doody has aged 20 years in a month-- no?

You’ll find that karma is like Crisco Trey: “It All Comes Back Except One Tablespoon™”

The stupid part is that Gowdy’s statement doesn’t even show what he claims.

Wrongful termination suits have a very limited number of causes of action. Termination for serving in the reserves is one. Termination for not following legal orders to go after Clinton is not. So the suit isn’t going to state an issue that isn’t a cause of action even though it may have been a major part of the reason he was fired.

If you are going to set up a congressional hearing for an alleged incident of jaywalking you had better make sure that you are completely beyond reproach.

Will amount to nothing. Gowdy is also on the ethics committee:

Since the gop established that the president could be sued, my guess is that a lowly congressman could also be sued.

Yes, yes, yes!!!

Finally, have we reached (or are we on the brink of reaching) an age of accountability?

May I have some more, please?

The standing rules probably require him to recuse when he is the target of the complaint. And given that there was a clear breach of law here, they are in a very difficult place. Most likely they will cite the fact that there is a civil court proceeding and attempt to use that to delay considering the issue.

So when the committee finally reports during the main election, every story on the ridiculous partisan findings plus the minority report will be mentioning that Gowdy himself is under investigation for actual criminal actions.

Sorry, Gowdy, but you have lost. Close down the “select” committee.

Watch David Brock become the next Blumenthal. Subpoena coming for him any day now. Because Republicans always double down. "Reload, not retreat ".

Is that David Brock, former Clinton hater and right-wing nutcase?

The chair is accused of researching info about a researcher who claimed he was fired because he would not research who he was ordered to research. Too recursive for me.

Plus, that guy was no “ally of Clinton”. He’s a Republican.

Pardon me. My error.

I was wrong the man’s last name was Berg. It won’t let delete the comment so I’ll just edit it. I’m not so arrogant that I won’t admit when I’m wrong.

Brock said in the statement. "Gowdy’s leak of Podliska’s dispute resolution is a clear violation of well-defined confidentiality provisions, and he must answer for his deliberate and flagrant violation of the law.”

The GOP only expect others to be accountable. Not themselves.

Yes that is he and he has become her biggest defender. He wrote a pretty darn good book called Blinded By The Right which explains all the dirty details
