Weâve known that Republicans, especially fiscal conservatives, use anti-climate rhetoric just to get votes from the legions of uninformed voters.
These media-savvy, career politicians know the media wonât inform anybody of any facts about climate change â certainty not their own powerhouse propaganda machine â so the safe bet is that most voters will be ignorant about the subject, and therefore lazy about any solutions. It makes great cover for taxing their base, giving subsidies to their business donors, while claiming the tax problem is due to all the crumbling schools soaking up too much money.
It also allows people like Trump to charge more for golfing, which is what he really wants. God knows, Trump wonât pay for it.
