Kimmi is to traditional marriage morality as Barstool Palin is to the success of abstinence-only sex education
A fine is not going to hurt. It’ll just be paid by someone else.
It’s a grift. She’s planning on milking the outrage machine to subsidize her meth habit, or her bingo addiction, or whatever…her “beliefs” are immaterial since no one is forcing her to commit sodomy or eat shrimp.
She gives new meaning to the terms hypocrite and chutzpah. Until I heard this from Dan Savage last night, I had not heard this. I do not believe one msm has gone there. Correct me if I am wrong.
Wingnut welfare will kick in to pay her fines so that is covered for her.
The only think that will affect her is jail time and she will have to walk that lonesome valley by her self.
Oh! Kim…Kim…Kim! America’s best Christian, Betty Bowers, has, I repeat, some words just for you. You must…simply must do better:
Kim Davis…Jeebus’ is not happy with you! You scamp and serial adulterer/marryier/bastard child birther/fornicator. Holy Windex won’t wipe away your sins! Shame…shame…shame!
Oh Kim! You will have to go to hell! But…Jeebus does still love you, you hateful sinner, but He still finds your hair and wardrobe abominations.
We accept your values and beliefs, you dumb old redneck hillbilly. You have all the right in the world to keep believing them. What we don’t accept is your “freedom” to restrict ours.
Now you all know the answer to the question “where do all those country songs come from?”

III. A HUSBAND NEEDS A WIFE WHO WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP INWARD AND OUTWARD BEAUTY.
EPHESIANS 5
…1. A woman’s hair “is given her for a covering” (I Corinthians 11:15).
2. A woman’s hair is a basis for her spiritual protection (I Corinthians 11:10). 3. A woman’s hair is a glory to her (I Corinthians 11:15).
4. A woman’s hair style must reflect her husband’s wishes (Ephesians 5:24).

$80K in an area with a low cost of living is a pretty sweet deal. No wonder she doesn’t want to resign.
Wonder why I’ve only seen one reference to the fact that she “inherited” this job from her mother, who had it for dozens of years and her brother or son works for her. It happens in the south all the time, maybe elsewhere. Someone gets elected to a job and keeps it until they retire. Meanwhile they have been training and grooming their child to take over when they retire. The electorate goes along with it because they don’t like change. For some reason this happens more with women than men.
We had a Supervisor of Elections here, Wilma Sullivan, who had held the job for so long that no one bothered to run against her. She had groomed her son until he was her second in command. If she had let him run normally, he most likely would have been eleced and kept the office forever. But she was greedy. She wanted it to be a done deal so that he would be a shoo-in. So at the last hour, literally, before the qualifying closed, she announced her retirement and her son filed to run for her job.
Everyone was stunned. No one had filed to run against her and suddenly her son was running unopposed.
It was probably the best thing that happened to Leon County voters. A law school student ran on a petition drive and everyone was so irked with the Sullivans that he won. He has been the best Supervisor of Elections possible and is continually consulted for his expertise. (There were no hanging chads in Leon County. We have the best, most reliable, best paper trail system available.)
He’s retiring this year, and I’m happy to report he has no chioldren lined up to take his place.
