An incumbent party doesn’t win a Presidential election by saying the last eight years really sucked. In fact, that’s how you lose a Presidential election.
Yeah, but in this case there’s video.
Not McCaskill - she supported Obama then. I think the problem for Bernie and the Dems will be more than just down ballot if he is the nominee.
Sanders officially changed parties? I didn’t see that news.
Hmmm, hurting Dems in down ballot races… what does this remind me of?

as sleazy as this effort is by mccaskill, it could innoculate sanders against the attacks by the gop… it will be an old, worn out line by the time he’s running against the gop candidate. otoh, it might actually help sanders, considering how much love trump and the gop have for putin…
so many angles… lol
Yes she is. Sanders would have no coat tails. In fact, we would probably have Senators and Representatives running away from Sanders.
Not that most Sanders supporters care. They seem to see Sanders campaign as basically a coup attempt to take over the Democratic party without actually building one of their own.
Hillary’s support in the African-American community is at near Obama levels… Sanders doesn’t event come close – so yeah, don’t look for those down-ballot candidates to look favorably on a candidate that’s really sputtered on the BLM stuff.
The Democrats have pros and cons to them. Republicans have actual baggage. Regarding the down ballot races, Sanders has more cons than pros.
Luckily, in Kentucky, there is no Democratic down ballot. /s
In addition, the “Berniacs” don’t seem to realize the election is about electing a Party as a whole not just “Bernie.” Case in point, Donna Edwards is said to be a very strong progressive (she;s not my rep, I don’t know) and would probably make a very good Senator from Maryland. BUT, because she’s supporting Clinton, the Berniacs have nothing to say about her and certainly won’t support her financially. Despite the fact that she’s a progressive. No Bernie, no love.
fine
Then he needs to give as much as he gets, no exceptions.
Dream on. The GOP will be nonstop in calling him a socialist/communist. And they will be fully supported by the MSM. His vague, feel-good policies only heighten those concerns. Free college education, government controlled health insurance for everything, high minimum wages…all paid for by breaking up banks, bankrupting the insurance industry and taxing the wealthy. That will easily be broken down into bumper stick speech as “Destroy private industry and replace it with government control”
And rightly or wrongly, that’s a kiss of death in American politics, especially with the candidate joyfully embracing the socialist label. This rather tame reproach that he would hurt the Democratic party downstream isn’t even in the same ball park as what the GOP would do to a Sanders campaign.
So Cliche.
“Remember the Maine”, “Fifty four Forty or Fight,” Tippecanoe and Tyler Too," Van, Van, He’s a Dirty Man", " A White Bird Never Flies at Night"!
Did you really just make the argument that assumes I agree with Bernie and his supporters making dumbass attacks simply because I criticized Clinton and her supporters making dumabss attacks?
Its a one man revolution. They have fallen for the mirage of Presidential politics…that electing a President is all that matters, when in fact a President without Congressional support is worse than useless. It sets your movement back decades, if not destroying it forever.
And, as I have said repeatedly, there are no Senators, Congresscritters or Governors running on the “Sanders” platform. None.
Senator Sanders thinks that PP is the democratic establishment. Maybe he is trying to get those republican swing voters by bashing PP.
Interesting the differences in the Parties.
Democrats mildly question each other on small Policy differences and Electability concerns and cause furrowed brows and much discussion in their constituents.
Republicans call each other cowards, and pussies, and traitors, and fascists, and call for armed revolution and the destruction of Constitutional Government, all to the wild applause of the mouth-breathers they are grovelling for the votes of.
Yeah. “There is no difference between the parties”. Keep on believing that.
Yes, of course, Hillary super delegate! Bernie acts more like a “Democrat” then the supposed registered Democrats. He is giving people something to vote FOR instead of voting against something evil.
Well, we know that but if you go over to the Great Orange Satan (a/k/a/ Feel The Bern central) Bernie won’t need Congress to implement his revolution. It’ll - …just happen. The “people” will make it happen.l
