Californians planted that false story. If Trumpp is reelected, the “Big One” will occur and there will be numerous eyewitness reports that California completely separated from the continent and sank beneath the sea. We will miraculously reemerge in time to vote again in 2024.

Actually, the biggest problem for the jury system in a case like this is that people who have never heard about it are probably not paying attention to stuff outside their own lives, out of necessity or apathy. The government needs to work on a simple narrative and reinforce it with evidence, not bring twenty tons of evidence and expect the jury to sort their way through it.
