Discussion for article #238011
Is this where you met David Wildstein?
Oh fat-ass, you are soo 2010!
People yawned, then looked away…even people in NJ!
It would have been better for New Jersey if his political career ended, 35 years ago, at his high school.
This makes sense to me. Most of the time Christie behaves like he’s still in high school.
I have an idea. Instead of individuals announcing they’re running for President…announcing in dribs and drabs… why not just have the ENTIRE GOP run for President? It’s more economical that way 'n doesn’t waste money. And that would fit with their misbegotten ideology.
Christie, in his announcement just said running for POTUS isn’t like running to be “Prom King”. Whatever the hell that means.
Any middle-aged adult who feels he should present his credentials in relation to who he was in high school has many more problems than we can enumerate here.
Rife with digs at the current President during his announcement (feckless, weak, deluded), I believe his emphasis on the race NOT being a popularity contest will be his undoing. Along with his failure at almost everything a Governor is supposed to do for his constituents. I believe he is only good at hubris and condescension.
Christie’s digs at Obama being weak etc shows Chris is divorced from reality. Obama is hardly weak as demonstrated this past week. two SCOTUS decisions, Fast track authority I didn’t agree here) that was supposed to be all but dead, and a masterful speech that blew the doors off that church. Christie, to ignore all that, must be in an alternate reality.
