So, what do you think happens if Rubio tanks after tonight’s debate performance? I guess one thing is pretty much certain-- Bush stays in, because getting Rubio may be almost as important to Bush as getting the nomination. And if thats right, Bush probably lives to fight in Florida. Does he win Florida? Would have interesting consequences for the Rs if he did.

Oh, I’d say if it is not Rubio, it will be Bush. I agree with that. I just don’t see Cruz or Trump in the long run getting the nomination. And the most sane one, Kasich, is just being ignored nationwide, though he will do well in NH obviously. But Rubio did himself no favors tonight…however there is still a long way to go.

Rubio should’ve bar-b-qued Christie in return by bringing up his pending bridge blocking trials. Instead, he took it with a whimper.

Christie partially picks on the Rube because they sense that he is moving into the establishment’s choice position but also because the Rubester is weak and Big Bad Bully Christie makes his living off of picking on people and being a Jerk.
