Do we know that was in fact the only bit that was plagiarized? The only reason this came out is Hill happened to notice the similarities to Michele Obama’s earlier speech. I’m hoping someone does a more systematic check on the rest of it.

In my working life I was a scientist and I took my writing seriously. Very very seriously. If I had plagiarized 7% of someone else’s work my career would lie in ruins. I would have lost my job in heartbeat. Byt this is politics where liars abound. Lying and stealing the words of others is what they do. Reflexively… Commonly. And nobody gives a damn. The journalists who report these shenanigans should give that damn.

No I’m serious. How do we know that she didn’t plagiarize other bits as well? (Not necessarily from Michele but from other sources.)
Add: My own experience with plagiarism in college student essays is that it is often not restricted to just one section of the paper.
