I can see that, but it was honest consternation that one of the prime jobs of being an elected official is just getting re-elected and that doing good work doesnât seem to be valued as much as one would hope. :\
Chris has been my Congressional Rep and he seems like a real person rather than a politician. He was head of the DCCC during a tough patch after Rahm Emanuel helped us take over the House. The key is building the party in all the states and not running national campaigns. That will take a while. Hopefully the country will have had enough of Trump by the mid-terms. Maybe Chrisâs shortcoming is that he is a DC person through and through. One of the few who can go home every night, but he has had a very friendly district. A good soldier.
