Christie added though that it’s not certain how much humans are to blame for global warming.
I will never understand why anyone thinks that is a matter that should affect our response.
Are they under the impression that if we are not 99.9% of the cause (and we are, according to actual scientists who study it) that somehow makes it something we won’t have to deal with? As my granddad used to say; “It ain’t gonna fix itself!”
Typical of conservatives, it’s the response of an ignorant, spoiled brat.

I once had a 2 hour tete-a-tete with a tea-partier at a Christmas party. One of the points he kept returning to was that is was presumptuous for puny humans to think that their puny actions could materially affect God’s creation. So, claiming human responsibility for global warming or suggesting human response could alter global warming was, to his thinking, blasphemy. I found this to be a disturbing, but useful insight into an alien mindset.

Would we think more of Neville Chamberlin if he had admitted that the Nazis posed an existential threat and could not be trusted before doing nothing to stop them?
I don’t see much difference between what he said and I am not a scientist. But, jebya and fatso will both be hugging maple syrup before too long.
