Chelsea Clinton said Tuesday that, if given the opportunity, she’d ask Ivanka Trump how exactly her father would pay for a minimum wage increase.
Huh? Maybe this remark was misunderstood / mis-paraphrased, because otherwise it doesn’t make much sense. Unless you’re talking about federal workers, the government doesn’t “pay for” minimum wage increases.

This morning Matt Lauer, a real clown now, asked Chelsea why she doesn’t call Ivanka and ask her how they can tone down the angry rhetoric. What? That’s like asking the rape victim to apologize to her rapist for wrinkling his pants. When Chelsea tried to politely respond, Lauer said, “you know, your mother’s side has said some pretty nasty things about Donald Trump.” I couldn’t believe what I was seeing so I switched to MSNBC where they were foaming at the mouths about the hecklers. Tomorrow morning over my coffee I think I will watch Peppa Pig…

Ivanka seems brighter than her father, the only problem is, as with her speech, she’d probably be discussing policies and characteristics of her father that are wholly divorced from the reality of his policies and character.

Agree. In terms of background, remember that Ivanka Trump has stated that she felt supported as a woman and mother working in her father’s business. The question that follows that is what would President Trump support/propose to protect all women in the workplace?
