A nation of laws. This is how to use them.
If we had a Justice Department and not a racist southern lackey for an Attorney General, we would not have these issues.

“They came to terrorize.”
Hmm. So… is it a stretch to say that those who with the intent to terrorize are … terrorists?
(Food for thought.)
The Republican Party is delivering on its campaign promises.
Unfortunately, not yours, clergy, but what do you expect from a Chief Executive who has never read the Bible?
The heavily armed militia wingnuts put the Cville police on a razor’s edge knowing that they faced the high potential of open combat if the police enforced unlawful assembly. Bar the militia and maintain police control of any assembly.

It would be great if some of the white supremacists could actually be made to recognize that they’re wrong, but if they shut up only because they’ll possibly lose their jobs or get sued out of existence, I’d settle for that.
There is a general consensus that one of the definitions of a state is that the state has a monopoly on the legitimate use of physical force. That puts these “militias” in the position of usurping the power of the state. There’s a word for that. In fact there are several: sedition, insurrection, rebellion, treason.
