At the Koch level they consider “support” as an investment.

They likely see that there is ROI with Trump. Trump will work with monied folks just fine. The issue with trump is that he burns down the rest of the economy so there narrow business wins in the fossil fuel sector will be killed by virtue of being diversified.

And for Hillary, well, they cant say out loud she is preferable…
