The senator is upset with a political and economic system that is often rigged to help the privileged few at the expense of everyone else, particularly the least advantaged. He believes that we have a two-tiered society that increasingly dooms millions of our fellow citizens to lives of poverty and hopelessness. He thinks many corporations seek and benefit from corporate welfare while ordinary citizens are denied opportunities and a level playing field.

Yeah, yeah. Regulations are anti-competitive and they hold us little guys back. But the thing is, this mild effort at propaganda seems almost quaint these days. At least he’s trying to fool people with a rational argument, however thin. Compared to the horseshit Trump and Cruz dump by the truckload, this is almost a mark of respect, the dinner you get bought before you’re screwed. We may look back nostalgically some day at this kind of thing.

Koch is talking about the ACCURACY of Bernie’s summary description of how those things work.
Koch is saying NOTHING on whether he Koch thinks those things OUGHT to go that way, or on whether Sandpipers is accurately describing is a Bad Thing or a Good Thing, or for whom.
Koch is not endorsing Sandwiches for POTUS, or recommending others votes for Sandpipers for POTUS. Koch’s not even saying whether Senator Sandpuppies saying these factually accurate things public is a positive, or a negative, or anything at all, really.
