There’s nothing more the lazy SOBs hate worse than doing their job is meeting their constituents who remind them to do it. They’re like little bubble babies, getting stroked by lobbyists and staff and glad handing from anyone who needs a favor, but the folks back home are wise to them.
I think of Hillary and what should have been and I could cry. Sometimes I actually do. And just to add to the general sense of doom and gloom, there’s this (being reported in a few places but not here.) There’s a $100 million slush fund from mega donors to the inaugural committee completely unaccounted for. Orange presumably has control of it. Many of the donors (including Adelson) will have their wishes granted and will get appointments to places to run things.
