Normally, the only thing I would think of going to Utah for would be to get to the Nevada border. But I’d be willing to join this campaign if it meant doing something to get rid of yet another Republican simpleton, Particularly Mr. IPhone.
I wonder if he’s been back home since he made that smart crack?

Remember (before the IPhone comment) how well attended the Town Hall he held back in February? Given the confluence of events - and waves happen. And that many people can work with others at the ground level, and start connecting now with the growing discontent - far different results could occur in 2018.

Remember, my Red state of Indiana voted handily for Obama in 2008.

“People should spend their money on health insurance instead of iPhones.”

Maybe Republicans should spend our money on health insurance.

Instead of a bloated Pentagon.

And tax cuts for billionaires.

Or border walls.

This is what I am looking for - a Dem candidate who is already out there to stop to madness and is ready to stand up to the naysayers. This can be done.

Make your statement to get this fool out of office.

If you have not investigated this already, please do so:

“iPhone gaffe”–don’t you mean “bias against poor people?”

This week, Chaffetz said in a statement that he is “sympathetic to the tough choices people have to make in the face of rising health care prices” and insisted he’s working hard to fix what he called flaws in President Barack Obama’s health care law.

How many of the down and almost out that supported the Donald believe this? There hasn’t been a single independent analysis of what Ryan has proposed that concludes that anyone will be better covered for less than what is currently available. Ryan himself admits there are gaps.

Three, if you count drumpf tower, mar-a-lago, and that quaint smallish public housing project painted white on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Of all the GOP’ers deserving to get annihilated in 2018, this greasy oil-stain is right up at the top of my list.

Chaffetz is an embarrassment even for a Republican. Being heartless comes with the territory of being in the GOP, but being a smarmy, thoughtless, and arrogant prick to his own constituents is almost inexcusable. I hope she gives him a run for his money. I have no doubt some Koch Bros. SuperPAC will fill the breach and run false ads against her so she needs to pre-empt that bullshit ahead of time…because it will come. Its their usual playbook, and they have no qualms making up shit if they can’t find anything negative about her.

He need not worry. He’s in a 50/50 district, and all it takes is an exciting night on “The bachelor” to keep Dems from getting up off their asses to vote in an midterm election

Me too because he lies with such ease, without blinking an eye. It really astonishes me, even though it shouldn’t by now.

Isn’t that redundant?

Have there even been any non-independent analyses that projected better coverage for less? I haven’t seen any.

What is up with the Chaffetz’ misspelling? It’s bad enough when you guys do it to names like Priebus, but Chaffetz doesn’t even end in s!

Jason thinks greed is cool. I’d like to invite him to one round with 16 oz gloves.

Having grown up in Utah, I can tell you that a politician that comes across as heartless can easily lose. It matters to the people there that people care about others; it doesn’t always come across in policy, but if someone is in need and you denigrate them there is a visceral reaction, one that goes beyond the usual red state politics. If Allen can tap into that, and survive the coming onslaught of negative attacks (which may be harder given her being a doctor and actually helping people), she may have a shot. It will most definitely require the Democrats to get off their asses and vote…and it’s not clear if even the current mess is enough to get past the usual apathy of non-conservative voters.

Oh, please. THIS IS UTAH.

They would vote for an asshole, if it was a republican asshole. Here’s proof:
