I liked him in the loser position when he challenged Colbert to leg wrestle then lost - then tried for best of 3 and lost again. Afterwards he told a Utah news reporter Colbert was “freakishly strong”. More like Chaffetz is freakishly self-deluded. He choses the contest against Colbert, and loses; he sets up the contest against Richards, and loses. He’s freakish at losing, apparently.
…and my hair is prettier, and my teeth are nicer, and I dress better. That’s the problem with the Conservative movement they think governing is a performance art as opposed to a diligent exercise in problem solving and compromise for the greater good
Well there’s that…snark
did anyone ask him about his planned parenthood performance…
did pipsqueak meeka do anything other than flutter her eyes (i’m convinced she’s been viewing princess di videos – she’s adopted that downcast look. although she has thrown in the pouty face…) and shut down the segment (her real roll – intro/exit to commercial breaks).
their obsession with taking down clinton continues; while they were at least forced by poll results to mention bernie sanders briefly.
" I’m trying to unite the party, I’m not trying to divide it."
Said the man announcing a divisive race for Speaker, sure to splinter an already fractured caucus.
He’s giving Ted Cruz stiff competition in the 2015 “I Have A Face Made For Radio” competition.
Kermit and Miss Piggy are paragons compared to this guy.
“The committee has important work to do that five other comittees didn’t do at a cost of tens of millions of dollars because that’s what smaller, less intrusive government is all about,” Mr. Chaffetz later added.
O’BRIEN: Is it true that you voted to cut the funding for embassy security?
CHAFFETZ: Absolutely. Look, we have to make priorities and choices in this country. We have — think about this — 15,000 contractors in Iraq. We have more than 6,000 contractors, private army there for President Obama in Baghdad.
And we’re talking about can we get two dozen or so people into Libya to help protect our forces? When you’re in tough economic times, you have to make difficult choices how to prioritize this.
Unfortunately, Democrats will not capitlize on this at all.
guess he thinks he is cute … too bad he is not very bright … maybe he could snag a role in a TV sit-com

He epitomizes TeaPub reasoning…
“‘It was a terrible mistake, but it was a mistake. Kevin normally doesn’t do that — that’s not who he is. It was unfortunate. It was wrong. He’s apologized for it. I believe him. We have to move on. I think it’s an important committee doing important work,’ Chaffetz said on MSNBC.”
“i believe him. we have to move on.” i can’t even wrap my mind around the irony here, given that he’s talking about the BENGHAZI!!!1111!! committee. i mean … i just … i just can’t. “we have to move on.” i mean … holy shit. omg.
Jason Chaffetz:
I’m arguing that one of my strong suits is actually going on camera and going before the media and making …
… an ass of yourself.
What Rep. Wide Right meant to say was the GOP needs a Speaker with absolutely no sense of shame.
“I am that man.”
Haha! I was going to say his speaking ability has to be better than his chart making ability. I’ve seen 8 year old’s more adept than he seems to be at that.
Not only is lying important, but Chaffetz is much better at it.
They’ve become plusses for electability in the RW parallel universe…
Weird. He comes across as a shit-weasel face Fright-Wing™ version of Jimmy Fallon. Of course that brings up the question of what exactly you mean by “better on camera”.
Man, you frogs stick together.
