A white Republican governor recognizing two white Republican senators and a white Republican pResident were to be celebrated for the designation. That uppity black guy who worked on it for 16 years was just being so petty to think he should have been mentioned when they were doing something great. That’s how those GOP mofo’s work – and now they can talk amongst themselves about how no matter how many nice things they do the more melanin-enriched just don’t appreciate it.

Well, OK, the Democratic segregationists of Ochs’ era have all migrated to the Republican Party and, without a twinge of shame, declare that the Democrats were and are the party of racism.
