Га, никто!

They’re going to the mat over Carter Page? Has anyone given thought to the fact that Page was believed to be a stooge for the Russians 2 years before Trump even thought about running for President? How did he even end up working for the campaign? God, people are stupid…

Mr. Page and Republicans: Hang out with Russian spies and you get investigated. Deal with it.

Sounds like it’s time for another round of Carter Page TV interviews! They went so well the last time, surely he’ll do wonders to boost the credibility of Trump’s defense. Maybe we can play highlights from the previous ones too just to refresh everyone’s memory.

Dumbass says what?

When you have Carter Page on your side, run mothafucker run!

Thank you for the giggle.

He’s definitely on drugs, or should be.

The BBC is extremely diplomatic

The memo’s focus on Page is interesting. The unpaid Trump campaign adviser had been on the FBI’s radar since 2013, because of his ties to a Russian bank executive who was later convicted of spying on the US.

Page had resigned as a Trump foreign policy adviser in September 2016 - a month before the Fisa warrant was approved.

The Trump team has characterised Page as a bit player in the campaign, which raises questions about whether an order to monitor Page should be viewed as a direct assault by the FBI on the heart of the Trump campaign, undermining the entire Russia investigation, or a particularly colourful sideshow to a much larger and justifiable endeavour.

Page seems to think the Nunes memo exonerates him. It does not.

I shared this comment over on the 5 things to know about the memo piece, but this might be the better place for it. I keep thinking about why Page, and why THIS particular FISA warrant? The WH basically claims to never met/heard of Carter Page – he didn’t even rise to the level of coffee guy, and yet here we are, with the memo of the century, using this exact FISA warrant to supposedly expose deep corruption at the highest level (of the FBI!) and by extension exonerating Trump, because Eleventy! Steele! Dossier!
My question is, might Carter Page have said something extremely damaging (a smoking gun type statement or conversations) during the period of THIS particular FISA warrant? The end game would be to nullify any evidence gathered under this particular warrant period. I know this is tin-foil hat territory, but dang, I can’t sort out why they would put so many eggs in this particular basket. Well, except for the bankrupt Nunes brain trust.

During an interview with Chris Hayes in October Page intimates that when the time is right Paul Ryan is going to get him off by attacking the FISA warrant process. So Page is clearly on that type of chatting basis.
