Discussion for article #240848
Well, I didn’t see his quitting speech. Did Scut say "Everybody but Our NI(CLANG!)?
Imagine Dr. Dementia with the nuke-u-lur codes…
"He is talking about making sure we get a true conservative. I don’t think he thinks that I’m not a true conservative."
And the winner of this year’s “Best Litotes by Batshit Crazy People” competion is…
oh, Dr. Carson…he meant you too…in fact, the GOP candidates should all quit the race so we can focus on someone who can actually govern and who will govern, and who will work for the American people instead of whining about abortion, Planned Parenthood, and gay rights.
Sounds like Carson is expecting a big boost from Scott Walker’s “bowelling out”.
What? Me worry?
Why would anyone care who Scott Walker was talking about? “I’m quitting because I’m losing. Other losers should quit too so that Donald Trump won’t win.”
Sounds like a loser coaching losers how to beat the winner.
Good thing I looked up Litotes as I was just going to post about that odd double negative sentence structure.
I love your comments … they are my word-a-day lessons each day. Thank you!
Too bad Sarah Palin isn’t running. She could clearly explain the comments of other Pubbie candidates.
Yeah…$he does that $peaking -in- $aladry to clarify to her $uckers…
My first exposure to Ben Carson was about a year and a half ago when attending a conference for a group of engineers during which a video of him speaking was played. His main points were: “I grew up poor. Really poor. My mom worked lots of jobs. My single mom had lots of kids. We didn’t get any help from anybody. I turned myself into a doctor. Why don’t all poor people just become doctors like me? No one should get any government assistance or they’ll be lazy and won’t become doctors. Minorities get too much help.”
I can’t believe he’s managed to turn this simpleton, longing for the good-old-days shtick into a presidential campaign!
Talk about low energy…
“Walker announced Monday evening that he was dropping out of the GOP race, and he urged other candidates to do the same in order to find someone credible to defeat
the party’s primary front runner, real estate mogul Donald Trump.”
“I encourage other Republican presidential candidates to consider
doing the same so the voters can focus on a limited number of candidates
who can offer a positive, conservative alternative to the current
front runner,” Walker added."
This quote tells me Walker wanted EVERYBODY to drop out except The Donald so that some drop out could defeat The Donald which is a non sequitur.
But our ever astute Dr Ben Carson comes back with:
“Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson told reporters Tuesday
that he didn’t think Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker was referring to him
when saying other Republicans should quit the 2016 race.”
As I understand logic and the English language, Walker said all the other candidates should drop out which in my world would include Dr Carson.
So apparently there are at least two former, and soon to be former, candidates in serious need on an intervention and therapy. Thank the Maker that neither will be POTUS.
The awful local news-droids here in my Red State TX county were talking Carson’s “gaffe” regarding a Muslim as POTUS. When the W TX news-droids are calling him out, he’s done. Carson will never sit in the White House.
