Yes, that’s why NO ONE displays them, dumbass!
Carson is one scary dude; there is nothing presidential about him; wonder what people see in him;
Themselves.
If a gringo wishes to display a grinning monkey with a handlebar moustache and floppin’ sombrero bellerin’ “Si! Si!” I got no problem with it.
In their house (which I have the right not to visit).
“We’re hoping he’s endorsing the camp, we’re not necessarily endorsing him, but we are — you know what I mean?” Petty, in his trademark cowboy hat and sunglasses, said in a brief interview with the Associated Press. He later posed for pictures aboard Carson’s campaign bus.
The following endorsement is basically bs.
If he ever had ANY vote from Jewish people, this makes that null and void.
“Swastikas are a symbol of hate for some people, too. And yet they still
exist in museums and places like that,” Carson said, describing the
decision about flying the flag “a local issue.” ''If it’s a majority of
people in that area who want it to fly, I certainly wouldn’t take it
down."
I was right: he MUST on the chronic. To say something so outrageous, so completely insane…so…well, as the saying goes, it’s not even wrong.
1.The confederate flag is like the swastika a symbol of hate.
2. Because they are symbols of hate, swastikas are not displayed publicly but only relegated to museums.
Therefore,
The confederate flag should be proudly flown at public events like NASCAR races.
Fine example of Republican logic–another thing that should be relegated to museums.
What a sell out!
He also acknowledged the flag remains “a symbol of hate” for many black people and compared it to the Nazi swastika.
“Swastikas are a symbol of hate for some people, too. And yet they still exist in museums and places like that,” Carson said, describing the decision about flying the flag “a local issue.” ''If it’s a majority of people in that area who want it to fly, I certainly wouldn’t take it down."
If you go to various Nazi Concentration Camps, you can still see the gas chambers and dissection tables. I don’t think I’d like to see them outside of their museum context, though.
That moment when NASCAR itself is more socially progressive on racial issues than a black politician
“Swastikas are a symbol of hate for some people, too. And yet they still exist in museums and places like that,” Carson said,
True, but they don’t sell swastikas on eBay or Amazon and you don’t see one painted on the roof of a car from a TV show.
And no one said it wasn’t OK to fly a Confederate flag on private property, doctor.
Bang! Another straw man successfully slain.
Carson truly has not a clue about a wealth of Black Literature which chronicles self-hating wretches like him over a period of centuries.
Regardless of the Mental Health issues CARSON HAS, I actually believe that the whites LIKING Carson should have a Psych-Eval.
Forget about Carson…he’ll be gone in months., Those drawn to him have a lot of self-explaining to do.
Yep. Its sure to be all that vacillation the guy exudes.
“As much as people try to sound like they don’t care, some people think a black president will look out for the black lifestyle,” said Lopp, who worked in Lexington Barbecue for the last 36 years, adding that women like Fiorina would likely face discrimination from some voters as well.
I’d prefer a country where the majority of folks care about black lives and women’s lives rather than worry about some fictional “black lifestyle.”
Petty sounds as wishy-washy as the candidate he is endorsing or not, maybe.
As for Carson. When he said: “What are these?” he asked his wife, pointing to a small fried morsel as they began to eat. And she replied “Hush puppies,” it reminded me of Melissa McCarthy’s scene in Spy the movie where she ate the hand towels… thinking them hush puppies, perhaps?
Carson dismissed such comments with a shrug: “Racism exists everywhere,” he said.
The notable exception being for him. Because he’s neurosurgeon not a ni(CLANG). And the difference is clear. Of course.
““Swastikas are a symbol of hate for some people, too. And yet they still exist in museums and places like that,” Carson said, describing the decision about flying the flag “a local issue.” ''If it’s a majority of people in that area who want it to fly, I certainly wouldn’t take it down.”
So Carson just endorsed flying the Nazi flag as long as there’s more Nazis than Jews in an area/county/state!
If Carson did not despise himself to the point of, well, running for President as a TeaBumm/Republican, he would not be demeaning himself by pandering to people who celebrate the slave-holding heritage of their ancestors.
There is a reason that xenophobia and insularity go hand in hand.
These Carson voters loathe blacks.
And so does Carson.
That is not what he said at all. What he said was if someone wishes to fly it on PRIVATE property, then that is their choice.
Carson told the AP that NASCAR fans should continue flying the flag “if it’s private property and that’s what they want to do.”
At least have his position correct before the fake outrage.
