Some might argue that the scrutiny is routine in Presidential races and in Carson’s case, serves the added precaution of making sure he does not physically harm himself.He is obviously not all there.

You know what’s lost in all this? Sure, the GOP candidates are scumbags, for sure, but if we think they are scum, what about the win at all cost puppet masters behind the scenes? The conservative campaign managers, the spin masters, etc. They read the polling and probably say things like “If we say Islam should be wiped off the face of the Earth, we’ll gain 10 points!” AND THEN INSTRUCT THEIR CANDIDATE TO SAY IT! I can’t imagine the amount of callous scum that works behind the scenes of the Carson, Huckabee, Cruz, or Trump campaigns. It’s disconcerting to know those sort of people exist! “Get our candidate to the finish line at all costs! Who cares what it means for this country!”

I realize there is probably my conservative equivalent somewhere, writing the same thing about Bernie or Hillary’s people…but I can’t imagine his case for why they are awful. I can’t see it. That me is an idiot.
