Ben, I know some “big picture guys.” That ain’t you.
I am increasingly convinced he was just lucky.
“You have to place the blame where the blame is due, and the blame is due to the agitators,” Carson said.
Me, too. And who’s the Agitator in Chief?
“The surgery went wrong, but hey, you’ll still have four years with your kid.”
My thinking exactly…I mean, what could go wrong in 4 years…
for example, 1861 - 1865
April 12, 1861
You know____bout’ the length of Caligula’s reign or a World War. What could go wrong?
Oh gawwwd’ Mental Ben. Just STFU!

“The way I look at it, even if Donald Trump turns out not to be such a great president [snip], we’re only looking at four years, as opposed to multiple generations and perhaps the loss of the American dream forever,” Carson said.
Take a moment and let that sink in… Carson just has no idea what words are, does he? That said, if the choice is 4 years of Trump vs. 100 plus years of Democrats, I think I know which way my vote will go!
This fool is a “big picture guy.” He could be one of the stupidest men alive.
Reagan bankrupted our country in 2 years.
"I have to look at what is practical. I didn’t see a path for Kasich, who I like, or for Rubio, who I like. As far as Cruz is concerned, I don’t think he’s going to be able to draw independents and Democrats unless he has some kind of miraculous change," he continued. “Is there another scenario that I would have preferred? Yes, but that scenario isn’t available.”
I see Carson is another Party-Before-Country style of Republican. Seriously, look at the list of his choices from first to last: 1) Himself (Carson); 2) Kasich; 3) Rubio; 4) Cruz; and finally 5) Trump.
Truly, Trump should be so proud to come in Fifth Place.
“It’s only four years” is what my grandfather said when someone asked him how he liked his new high school. That an adult could say it about the presidency…
How much anesthesia did this guy ingest over his career? Did no-one think to tell him it was for the patients?
Because always, first and foremost IOKIYAR.
…the blame is due to the agitators…
Ben, Ben. The phrase you’re looking for is “outside agitators.” You need to channel your inner George Wallace.
Hey Ben,
2000-2004 was “just four years” too… And we’ve been dealing with the fallout of that clusterfuck for the last 12 years, and most likely for several more DECADES yet to come!
"The way I look at it, even if Donald Trump turns out not to be such a great president — which I don’t think is the case, I think he’s going to surround himself with really good people —
I’ve been trying to think of a professional that I could reasonably choose using that metric–a dentist? an accountant? a high school principal? a psychiatrist? an architect? an OB-GYN? a neurosurgeon?
Besides, what makes anyone think that he is going to surround himself with “really good people?” His track record isn’t very good on that, either… Even assuming he tries to, what person of character and credibility will ally himself or herself with Trump? (Hint: Look at who has endorsed him.)
Idiot savant, emphasis on “idiot”.
Seems as though Dr. Ben wishes he had a pair of nose plugs to reduce the stench of the Trump campaign.
I simply refuse to believe the hype on this. He must have been pushed forward, either through bribery or intimidation, or via formal or informal race quota, or family ties, or romantic intrigue, or extortion, or simple clerical error (they picked the wrong name perhaps – maybe some Bert Carson really qualified – who knows). I simply don’t believe it otherwise.
